The GMRS radio has a communication range of up to 4-5 miles in open areas without any obstructions, such as flat land and suburbs. In forests, the range is 3-4 miles, and in cities, it is 2-3 miles (actual communication distance may vary depending on environmental conditions), ensuring long range.
